Class of 2002
Gwen Viatour
What did I do after I left BISC : well, I went back to Belgium and studied bio-engineering (have always been fond of ‘nature’ stuff) for five years, then I first worked in Sydney in a mining company, in their environmental department, then back to Belgium to work in a consultancy company on environmental issues as well, and now, I’ve joined WWF-Belgium for 3 years now, and I’m the spokesperson for the media and press officer Working for WWF was my dream as a child and so I consider myself very lucky!! And I get to discover the Communication and Media world which I didn’t know as I did scientific studies – it’s great!
I got married in 2013 with the guy I had been dating for 10 years. Then we went to our honeymoon and came back with a baby. Pretty story. And as we ‘conceived’ him in Rome, his name is Roméo Great to know that the BISC lives on, I’m sure it’s very different from the late 90’s but the spirit remains I guess! |
