On Thursday 13th June the students from Years 5 to Year 10 competed in their track and field day. There was a bit of added competition as we invited some student representatives from our neighbours ISK. There was a great atmosphere as the events took place with the children showing determination and sportsmanship as they cheered on their friends and competition. New friends were made and a great day was enjoyed by all.
On Thursday 6th June, the KS2 Shakespeare Company put on 2 amazing shows for the Primary School, some lucky Year 9 students and then parents and family members. A great script, comedic timing and amazing performances, coupled with a ton of commitment and hard-work meant that both shows were a great success. Congratulations to all of the students who took part we are all very proud of you and what you achieved. Thank you to Mr Jonathan & Ms Beata for making it happen and thanks to the Primary Art department for their work on the props. Also a big thank you to the parents for supporting this project and coming along to see the performance. A special mention also to Rita (Y3) for designing the winning poster entry. On Tuesday 4th June the children from Years 1 to Year 4 headed to Plac Na Groblach for their Track & Field Day. The sun was shining and the children were enthusiastic to compete in the events. Everyone did an amazing job and had a great time. On Sunday 2nd June Ms Jadzia & Ms Marta were joined by teachers, parents and children to enter the Great Dragons Parade 2019 here in Krakow. We met at the starting point and marched up Ul. Grodska to the Rynek to the sound of drums and crowds cheering. The weather was beautiful and although, unfortunately we didn't win, we had a great time representing the school and getting the recognition for the hard work of the Primary art department and our great dragon 'Filterek' deserved. We even made the news. https://krakow.tvp.pl/42909331/smocze-swieto-w-krakowie |
